About Me

For 28 years, I worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Over and above my daily duties, it spilled over into an ever-increasing involvement in the gardens around Jaffa. I found this so enjoyable that I soon realised that I had found my passion – designing spaces, choosing the correct plants and implementing the design.

Tending and improving my home garden further increased my interest in plants and design, leading me to embark on a series of garden design courses.

After attending a short course at the Irene School of Gardening, I enrolled in a year-long correspondence course in Garden Design & Maintenance with The School of Garden Design. The course was well constructed, incredibly user-friendly and, in conjunction with Lindsay Gray’s feedback, encouragement, vast knowledge and experience, I am now equipped to pursue my passion – running my own design company.

I am a lover of nature and wildlife, therefore I like to incorporate sustainable, organic gardening and use indigenous plant combinations to create seasonal gardens. On the other hand, I am definitely not impartial to including exotic plants in my designs, for instance in tropical, shade, water or small space gardens.
